Juan E. Cintron serves as Chairman of the Board
and CEO of Grupo Industrial Cintron, a holding company that has had interest
in manufacturing, wholesaling, retail, consulting and investing in Mexico
for over 35 years. His privately owned corporations include Coloide
Mexicana, S.A. de C.V., Flotamex, S.A. de C.V., Cintron y Asociados, and
Consultores Internacionales CLB, S.A. de C.V.
In the manufacturing
companies, products for the automotive parts industry as well as the brake
lining industry are supplied to OEM and service-market clients in Mexico, the United
States, Canada,
South America and the Far East. The
international consulting company provides management, marketing and
government affairs services to clients interested in expanding their markets
and investments in the global marketplace. A network of offices in the United States, Mexico,
Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina
and Chile
are responsible for the successful implementation of the client's projects.

Mr. Cintron has been very
active in community and cultural affairs for many years. He is particularly
interested in the challenges facing Latin America
in terms of the education of the future generations of the region. He has
spoken to private and public groups extensively on the subject. He is also a
strong advocate of open markets and of an entrepreneurial philosophy for the
area.
He presently or has
served as President of the following:
•Mexican Chapter of
the World Presidents Organization.
•Junior Achievement of Mexico.
•Mexico City Chapter of Young Presidents Organization.
•Board of Trustees of Instituto Cultural Cuernavaca.
•Board of Trustees of Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de
Monterrey (Cuernavaca campus).
•University of Notre Dame Alumni Association of Mexico.
•Junior Achievement International (Vice-Chairman).
•Fundación Comunidad A.C.
•Museo Contemporaneo de México.
He serves on the
following outside board of directors:
•Grupo Modelo S.A. de C.V.
•International Advisory Council University of Notre Dame.
Mr. Cintron is a graduate
of the University of Notre Dame and has advanced studies from the Advanced
Management Program of the same university. His wife, Linda, and he have three
adult children. He is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
